La stazione principale a Pisa: "Pisa Centrale" si trova in pieno centro storico di Pisa, di fronte a Corso Italia.

Dalla stazione di Pisa Centrale, lasciando all'albergo bagagli ed ingombri, si può visitare il centro storico della città a piedi.

Pisa Centrale, infatti, si trova in piazza della stazione di Pisa , adiacente a piazza vittorio emanuele II, adiacente l'imbocco di corso Italia, via principale dello shopping pisano che taglia verticalmente la città a metà e che prosegue dopo il ponte di mezzo in Borgo. Da quest'asse, lungo circa 1,4 km, si può deviare per le varie mete turistiche e non, del centro storico di Pisa, fino ad arrivare alla Piazza del Duomo (Piazza dei Miracoli) ove si trova anche la Torre Pendente di Pisa.
